These pictures were taken a few days ago when we still had good weather. I still haven't sorted out all my unpacking and wardrobe since i'm at home for a bit now, but was happy i could finally wear some different shoes! The last picture is a hint to my 21st birthday present.. I had a great post lined up to debut it but then its been a total downpour here ever since, so that may have to be put on hold.

life goes on

I'm finally finished with university! I've had a lovely weekend with friends catching up properly and just spending time doing not much at all. We've had a heatwave here too, although all of my summer clothes are at home so i've been having trouble finding things to wear. I wore this out last night to dinner so we took some quick shots before.

Birthday...

It's my 21st birthday tomorrow so i thought i'd do a post of the outfit i'm wearing.. well almost! I bought this gorgeous dress from Miss Selfridge not so long back when there was extra student discount, i couldn't resist! I'm going to pair it with my silver cuffs, black heels and studded bag (not as good as this studded bag.. this is the dream). I probably won't be blogging now until after my hand in, but after that i'll have all the time in world!

Like I said in my last post my dissertation is literally taking over my life.. i've got less that 3 weeks until hand in though, so posts will be pretty slow until then. After that i'll be back home reunited with the other half of my wardrobe! These were actually taken the other week after uni.. was a horrible rainy day and my outfit reflected that! I thought the car park would be the perfect place to shoot this outfit.

It's been pretty hard to take photos recently since i've only got 4 weeks left at uni - this dissertation is 24/7, which i know a lot of other people are dealing with. As usual the weather in England is being completely ridiculous, i was battling with the wind this day. I love how the back of this shirt drapes, i thought i'd mix up the prints too with polka dots and stars.. and my trusty studded slippers!

Statement

One thing i'm definitely missing from my wardrobe is a statement necklace. I'm a big impulse buyer when it comes to jewellery and usually just buy whatever i like without thinking about how it translates to my wardrobe. A gorgeous necklace would go great over my t shirts so i picked out my high street favourites. Which ones do you like?

This is the full outfit from my last post. I wore it to uni and when we got back we had in impromptu shoot in the bathroom! You can't really get full shots though so we went downstairs to get pictures of the full outfit. I adore this shirt with the coat, but since it was uni I dressed it down with my creepers and bowler hat. I'm heading down to London tomorrow for a photoshoot with a great stylist and singer, I can't wait! I'll let you know more tomorrow (or wednesday as i have no idea what time i'll be back) and hopefully have some video interviews for you soon!
