suede jacket + suede shoes =

So my love affair with suede is still going strong, and after treating myself to this jacket in Mango as mentioned in this post I found some boots that match the colour almost exactly! Blame my mum but i'm a sucker for some colour coordination. The only problem with all this suede is I have to check the weather forecast all the time because if theres even a 10% chance of rain i'm not risking it.. #suedeprobs anyone?

the suede jacket

How freakin incredible is this jacket? I mean, it's literally the jacket of dreams! I recently splurged on this in Mango, it was in the sale but was still like £80. Eek! With the warmer weather we've had this summer I realised I didn't have any light coloured jackets, then I saw this beauty and I just couldn't resist. Also I FINALLY got myself a pair of white velcro trainers!! (If anyone read this post here you'll know i've been after them for a while). My boyfriend thinks I look like a child in them but hey, I think they're awesome.

suede button down

So I sort of went all out for buttoned a line mini skirts and bought about 4 in the space of 2 weeks (this 70s/denim trend has really got me) but then i've actually hardly worn them.. I have the awful habit of buying clothes, placing them neatly in my wardrobe and then forgetting about them for weeks. Anyone else do that? It's pretty bad.. must be the thrill of purchasing I love! (not great for the bank).
Anyway, since the weather is fab I thought now is the time to get my wear out of them (since tights are the devil)
Hope you're all having a lovely weekend!

The suede skirt

So to be honest you can't even tell in these photos that i'm wearing a suede skirt, but still.. when I first saw the seventies trend coming through I was like "noo way am I buying into that trend". Low and behold, i've been completely suckered in! I've had this skirt in my wardrobe for a few years now and have never worn it, it's literal vintage c/o my mum's wardrobe from the 70s. It's a bit longer than i'd like but hey I can't complain, and I did end up buying this little H&M number last week to keep me going!
